Artist Residency at Art Produce
DEVISED BY: Stephen Loftesnes, Cambria Herrera, Alex Levin, J Nuñez, Ben Mclaren, Lula De Britos, Danniel Ureña, Mawce Dunn, Alana Burgess & Sarah Frazin

Allelo is a devised movement theatre piece that explores nature (in all of its grace and violence alike) as a source of healing that has been lost and must be restored. Informed by flora and fauna in the local Kumeyaay land, queer perspectives on pain and healing, and Art Produce’s edible garden itself, Allelo is a completely original experience where we all come together, breathe deeply, and find a healing way forward as a community.

What to note about the experience: Allelo is an experimental movement piece. Seating is a mix of chairs and floor/cushions. There will be some audience walking and maneuvering. Some wildlife violence and blood will be stylistically depicted. For any accessibility or content questions/requests, please reach out to alleloensemble@gmail.com
